Assorted silk ribbon bundle. You will receive one bundle with 8 plant dyed silk ribbons in different widths and lengths. Each bundle is different, not necessarily the colors and widths shown. The minimum width is 0.75" and maximum 2.25". Each silk ribbon is at least 1 yard long. Silk ribbons will be inside a muslin bag, wooden spools are not included. Depending on the look you would like, you may need to iron the silk ribbons. Sale is final, retail price is $80, discount already applied.
ONE OF A KIND — You are buying a "living color" that may appear to change depending on the lighting. Each ribbon is one of a kind and may have nuances, marbling, speckles from the natural dyeing process. Plant dyeing embraces imperfection.
WHO IS THIS SILK RIBBON FOR? — This silk ribbon was hand dyed with the fine art bride in mind. A bride who appreciates the art of natural dyeing and is not looking to match her wedding colors exactly. Also, a bride who loves natural textures and looks for meaningful details to adorn her wedding.
PROCESS — Every step is slowly crafted by hand in my studio: from hand dyeing silk in a pot using plant dyes from flowers, roots, foliage, nuts, fruits, and woods; sourced from fair trade companies or locally foraged, to tearing it organically into ribbons embracing imperfection, lightly pressing for a natural texture, and rolling onto handmade wooden spools.
100% SILK — habotai, beautiful sheen.
EDGES — Hand torn for an organic look, if a thread is loose along the length of the ribbon, it can easily be cut.
SHIPPING — I ship within 1 business day from Monday through Friday. When the Post Office is on holiday, I will ship the following business day. Select the shipping delivery of your choice (Standard, Priority, or Express) in the Shipping drop down menu once you are in your Cart.
Thank you for for your purchase and for supporting my handmade work!
Hand wash with pH neutral soap like Seventh Generation, plant dye colors are effected by a change in pH.

Dry floral stems before wrapping with silk ribbon, plant food will react to the silk color.

Most calligraphers and wedding invitation designers use 1 yard to adorn each invitation.
My plant dyed colors may vary from batch to batch, for this reason I do not offer samples. Even if the color doesn't match precisely, they always look beautiful and add another layer of thoughtfulness to wedding invitations, programs, and bridal bouquets.
Though I hand dye limited edition colors, I do not offer custom colors.
Though I do not offer wholesale discount, I offer a limited edition 30 yards spools at a modest discount.
